What we can do for Acheinu Bnei Eretz Yisroel

With the news of ground troops entering Gaza it means that Acheinu Bnei
Eretz Yisroel are in great danger.

Many of us feel we are so far away, what difference can we make? עם ישראל
are all one – every effort we make has an impact!

Being that Shabbos is the מקור הברכה it makes sense for us to make special
efforts over Shabbos.

Women are encouraged to daven for Acheinu Bnei Eretz Yisroel at the time of
candle lighting as well as setting aside extra Tzedokah.

Men are encouraged to come to shul on time and try and learn extra over
Shabbos.

A project that I would like to propose for the whole family is a greater
awareness of Shmiras Haloshon during Shabbos meals.

We should all try and take on Shmiras Haloshon / NO Loshon Hora from the
time we come home from shul (at least for 10 mins)

In the merit of us doing our bit – Hakodosh Boruch Hu should see how His
people are united and care for one another

May we only hear good news for us and all of our brothers and sisters in
Eretz Yisroel

Wishing you a good Shabbos
